The room-ready checklist

A good-looking piece still needs to work in your space. Before ordering, take a minute for the practical details.

Measure the path, not only the room

For a bed or vanity, check the assembled size, available floor area, doorway width and route to the room. For a folding table, compare its working surface with your laptop. A photograph cannot establish scale.

Match the power source

USB-powered does not automatically mean a power bank is included. Our scarf with power bank includes one; the heated pants and hoodie do not. The hooded wrap does not include a charger. Check each listing and ask about any unconfirmed electrical requirements.

Choose a setting that suits the item

The motion-sensing ceiling light is listed for dry indoor use. Solar lighting needs suitable exposure to daylight. Use the instructions supplied with each product rather than treating every light or heated item the same way.

Read the option you selected
